The castle of Chios is less than a kilometer away, on the north side of the harbor. Its area is more than 150,000 sqm, its interior is inhabited by about 600-700 inhabitants, with its main feature being the large stone walls around the walls designed to protect the inhabitants from the naval attacks while the two have been preserved the three gates that existed. In the castle there are also monuments of different seasons, the Ottoman baths, some taverns and shops with traditional products. Access must be made on foot to observe each other.
